Bring your everyday hair into the conversation
Tell your stylist how your hair looks between washes, whether you usually air-dry or diffuse it, and where the shape feels difficult. Photos of your hair on an ordinary day can be as useful as inspiration images. Your appointment should account for how you actually wear your curls.
Shape, movement and your own routine
A curl appointment is a chance to discuss length, volume and the areas where your hair behaves differently. Explain how much time you want to spend styling at home. Your stylist can talk through the shape and the finish rather than assume you want the same result as someone with a different curl pattern.
Get to know your stylist
Evie specialises in curls, cutting and lived-in colour at Clifton. Our team profiles explain individual strengths and salon locations. If you are unsure which appointment to choose, call the team and describe your texture and the change you have in mind.
Before and after the appointment
Ask the salon how to arrive with your hair for your chosen service; preparation can differ by appointment. Bring details of the products you normally use. Before you leave, ask your stylist to explain the finishing technique and the steps you can realistically repeat at home.
