Ask FDH AI chat

Ask FDH is an AI assistant, not a live receptionist. When you send a question, the recent conversation is sent to OpenAI to generate a reply using our salon information. Please do not include payment details, booking references, health information or other sensitive personal information.

We do not save chat transcripts to our salon database or browser storage. The conversation stays in the open page until you clear it or reload. OpenAI processes messages under its API data policies and may retain data for security and abuse prevention. We keep short-lived, hashed network usage counters for up to two days to limit abuse and costs. Chat text is not included in our analytics events.

The chat cannot access customer records, change appointments or send an enquiry to staff. Use the phone and email links to contact us yourself. For questions about your data, email hello@fergaldoylehair.com. OpenAI privacy policy.

Talk to Fergbot voice chat

Fergbot is our AI assistant using Fergal’s cloned AI voice, not Fergal speaking live. Voice chat connects only after you press Start voice chat and allow your microphone. ElevenLabs processes your speech and produces the voice replies, using OpenAI to answer from our salon information. Please do not share personal, health, payment or booking-reference details.

We have turned off audio recording in ElevenLabs and set future conversation transcripts and derived personal data to delete after one day. This setting applies to ElevenLabs conversation storage; providers may separately retain security, billing or abuse-prevention information under their policies. We do not save voice transcripts in the salon website database or browser storage, and do not include conversation content in analytics.

Calls end after three minutes or 30 seconds of silence. You can mute the microphone, end the call or close the chat at any time. Typed Ask FDH remains available. Fergbot cannot access customer records, book or cancel appointments, take payments or send messages to staff. ElevenLabs privacy policy.

Your choice comes first

Optional Google Analytics, Google ad measurement, Meta advertising and ChatGPT ad measurement cookies stay off until you choose each category in Cookie settings or select Accept all. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect browsing or booking. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice. We remember your choice on this browser for 180 days.

What we measure

If you accept, Google Analytics measures page visits and clicks to our booking portal, homepage booking and consultation buttons, gift vouchers, telephone and email links. Clicking a booking link is not recorded as a completed appointment. We do not send form answers, uploaded photos, email addresses or booking tokens. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.

Analytics cookies beginning _ga help recognise visits in the same browser and expire after up to 180 days. Google processes technical information about your device and visit. Read Google's privacy policy.

Google ad measurement

If you separately accept Google ad measurement, Google may receive ad click identifiers (gclid, gbraid or wbraid), cookie identifiers and website activity to connect an ad visit with activity on our website. This includes Google Analytics. Personalised advertising stays disabled. General query strings, contact details, consultation answers and booking tokens are not included in website events. Ad measurement cookies beginning _gcl may also be used. Rejecting this category stops future website ad measurement and removes these cookies on this website.

Meta advertising measurement

If you separately accept Meta advertising cookies, the Meta pixel measures visits to public salon pages, views of the New Cut Experience offer and clicks from those pages to SalonIQ booking. A booking-link click is labelled BookingLinkClick, not a completed appointment or purchase. The £60 value on an offer view describes the advertised offer, not revenue.

Meta receives technical information including your IP address, browser, page address and cookie identifiers, and may match activity to your Meta account to measure ads. Its _fbp and _fbc cookies generally last up to 90 days. We do not pass contact details, form answers or consultation photos to this pixel, and automatic form matching and automatic button events are disabled. The pixel is not loaded on the online consultation or private enquiry pages. Read Meta’s privacy policy.

Your Google Analytics choice does not grant Meta permission. Change any choice in Cookie settings; rejecting Meta stops future website events and removes its cookies on this website. Your choices are remembered for 180 days. Cookies and permissions on SalonIQ are managed separately there.

ChatGPT ad measurement

If you separately accept ChatGPT ad measurement, the OpenAI pixel measures visits to public salon pages, views of the New Cut Experience and clicks to SalonIQ. Booking-link clicks are diagnostic events, not completed appointments or purchases. OpenAI receives technical information about your browser and visit, the website origin and attribution identifiers. Our event code does not supply contact details, consultation answers or uploaded photographs. OpenAI’s automatic matching may detect supported contact details in the browser and send a hashed version for matching; this feature does not send raw contact details. This pixel is not loaded on consultation forms, private enquiry pages or the booking thank-you page.

The __oppref cookie can last 30 days and __obref up to 365 days. These help connect website activity to ChatGPT ads. We opt these events out of future user-level personalisation. Rejecting this category stops future events and removes these cookies on our website. Your Google or Meta choices do not grant OpenAI permission. OpenAI privacy policy.

Bookings and other websites

Bookings and gift vouchers take you to SalonIQ, which has its own privacy and cookie information. YouTube videos and social links connect to their respective providers when you use them.
